Matt got his start with technical diving in cold New England waters in 2015. In 2016, Matt started cave diving and making frequent trips to Cave Country. Matt moved to Florida in 2018 so he could cave dive every weekend and joined KUR in 2019. Matt’s primary exploration interest is Madison Blue and the surrounding systems, which he is convinced are all connected somehow. Matt is also fond of river caves and mud pits in the hope of finding something new. Depending on the needs of the dive, you’ll find Matt diving open circuit sidemount or a Choptima rebreather.
